ACTIVITY 3:

Direction: Read the questions carefully and answer it briefly.

1. Do you think that the government will be able to attain the Philippine Development Plan
in 2022 given the COVID Pandemic? Why or Why not?

As the pandemic started, people can’t sustain their needs until the government provide social
amelioration program. From that, government needs to gather budget from other funds and the
economy goes deep down. The president admitted that there is no such fund to release because
shortage occurs. Besides, the Philippines have a big debt that is over a trillion pesos. I think
Government won’t be able to attain the Philippine Development Plan in 2022 given the COVID
Pandemic. Some reasons are Philippines can’t cope the situation immediately because we belong
to a developing country. The economy will be stabled only after a long year. Budgets are not
enough to uplift the country and the rate of poverty is getting higher. The trust between the
government and society is not tight as expected.

2. You as a student, as a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, what can you do/ can
contribute in order to achieve the goal of the Philippines?

As a student and a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, I can contribute in order to
achieve the goals of the Philippines by following the laws and be a responsible citizen of this
country. For now, I will finish study first to have a better job in the future. I will use my rights to
vote the right person who are willing to serve our country well.
