Socrates was born in Athens Greeceto lredor

of 470 BC,he is remembered as a great thinker
and teacher and is regarded by many people and
as one ofthe wisest men of all time, Socrates
did not think that he knew the answers to all
the great questions of life. Just like what's
right? And what's fair, he thought the
came from thoughtful discussions, crowds used to
gather aroundhim on the streets of Athens and
heard him speak, with people who thought he knew
everything, for example he could ask someone what
is courage?, so he examined the answer by asking
another question, he would continue to ask questions
about each answer until the person realized
his first answer had not been completely
this method of teaching byquestioning is still
called the Socratic method.
