Sub.: Business opportunity seminar - RUIDP Phase -IV

Dear Madam

RUIDP is executing ADB funded Urban infrastructure projects and out of 42 Secondary towns
selected for development, bids has already been invited for 14 towns which are covered under 8
clusters. During this process it is observed that bidder's response to NIT is not satisfactory and
for 5 clusters we have received only a single bid.

In view of above, we propose to invite prospective bidders to a 'Business opportunity seminar'

which can be organised by PPTA team.

The proposed seminar will give opportunity to RUIDP to explain to the bidders the highlight of the
project and also an opportunity to prospective bidders to share their opinions or limitations with
RUIDP. With the help of this interaction and under approval from competent authority of RUIDP,
we intend to modify the Bid Documents so as to make it attractive to the competent bidders.
These efforts are expected to be helpful so as to attract more bidders and a competitive bidding.

The seminar is proposed to be conducted in Jaipur for a tentative number of 70 persons for a day
on 7 / 8 November 2019.
