Installation guide

Follow these simple steps to install CodeTwo Exchange Rules PRO.

Download or copy the installer to each server with the Hub Transport role (Exchange 2007 or 2010)
or Hub Transport service (Exchange 2013 or 2016).

The installer contains two modules: Exchange Rules Pro Service and Exchange Rules Pro
Administration Panel. Begin with installing the Exchange Rules Pro Service on each of the Hub
Transport servers (Mailbox servers, if running Exchange 2013/2016).
Note! During the installation the Microsoft Exchange Transport service is restarted.
To be able to create and edit the rules, you need to install the Administration Panel. We
recommend that you install it on a workstation. It can be located in the same domain as the
Exchange Rules Pro Service, or outside of it. Download or copy the installer to the chosen PC and
run the installation of Exchange Rules PRO Administration Panel.

After the installation a short application tour will launch. Take a look at the hints we have prepared
for you and proceed to creating your first email rules!
