Ringo wanted to record in London but Pete Drake persuaded him to go to Nashville and record

Pete Drake asked some country writers to compose new songs especially for the album and
Ringo received a lot of newly written songs to choose from. Some of the songs were chosen
from demo's before he went to Nashville and others were chosen after he arrived. All the songs

US on Apple SMAS 3368 (September 28th 1970). In the US the album reached number 65 and
