Dry Vitamin D3 100 CWS

Description
Dry Vitamin D3 100 CWS consists of free-flowing particles (beadlets). They contain vitamin D3
(cholecalciferol) in edible fats finely dispersed in a corn starch coated matrix of hydrolyzed
bovine gelatin and sucrose. dl--Tocopherol is added as an antioxidant. Silicon dioxide is used
as a processing aid.

Dispersibility
Dry Vitamin D3 100 CWS disperses quickly and completely in cold water, fruit juices, milk and
other liquids. High concentrations may give cloudy dispersions which, however, remain uniform
for relatively long periods.
Stability and storage
Dry Vitamin D3 100 CWS is sensitive to air, light and humidity. The product may be stored for 30
months from the date of manufacture in the unopened original container and at a temperature
below 15°C. The ‘best use before’ date is printed on the label. Keep container tightly closed.
Once opened, use contents quickly.
Uses
For pharmaceutical preparations, dietary supplements and food preparations.
Compendial compliance
The Vitamin D3 Crystalline, contained in this form, meets all requirements of the USP, Ph. Eur.
and FCC when tested according to these compendia. The formulation is manufactured according
to ICHQ7 requirements.
