Santorini is a the island located in the Aegean Sea, which was roughened by a volcanic
eruption in the 16th century B.C. which later shaped its rugged landscape as seen today.
My family and I traveled to Santorini at the end on September last year, we traveled to
Santorini Greece because my parents had always ones wante to go to know that beautiful
place.
We traveled from Bogotá to Athens with a stopover flight in Rome, then ones took a ship
that took us from Athens to Santorini, we are arrive in Santorini, ones are take a direct bus
to Fira which is the capital, it is a very long trip through the stopover and the waiting times,
but we finally arrived in Fira in the early hours of the morning, the transport is always
hard , we stayed at the Aegeeis Hotel it was very nice and cheap, but it is far from the city
center, first day ours rested a little at the hotel and in the afternoon we went for a walk in
the city, I felt so happy walking the streets between white walls and watching the blue sea, I
felt it was a dream. at the front was the beautiful sunset.
On second day we made a cruise through the volcanic islands and overlooking watering
place, ones tour lasted 8 hours. Ones visited the crater of an active volcano and we swam
in volcanic hot springs, we visited the city of Thirassia and watched a spectacular sunset in
Oia. The next day we made a catamaran cruise, we crossed the coast of Santorini in the
waters of the Aegean Sea, we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in front of the red beach,
that day we made a stop to the old lighthouse, to take pictures. To end our family trip we
were in Oia enjoying the cuisine that is somewhat expensive but exquisite.
