Grammar irregular verbs
Verbs in English are regular or irregular. Regular verbs need an ed ending in
past and irregular verbs don’t.
Examples of irregular verbs.

 To make affirmative sentences in past with irregular verbs just put the verbs
in past
Example:
“she spoke to me yesterday”
“they caught a cold last week”
“she thought about him every day”

 To make negative sentences with irregular verbs just write didn’t and the
verb in present.
Example:
“she didn’t speak to me yesterday”
“they didn’t catch a cold last week”
“she didn’t think about him every day”

child. At school, his teachers ____WERE__surprised to see him doing difficult
math problems in his head. When he __WAS__fourteen, Tesla ____LEFT_home
to study science and engineering. In 1884 tesla _DECIDED_____to move to New
York city, at that time many scientists ____STARTED__working to find ways to
bring electricity to cities. One important scientist ___GREW___Thomas Edison
and tesla ___WENT___to work for him improving and creating new products.
The two men ___HAD___some disagreements, so tesla ___STARTED__his own
business. At first, he ___WAS___unsuccessful because his business partner
__STOLE____his ideas. However, he __FOUND____some new partners and in
his second business he ____INVENTED_a new system to bring electricity safely
to buildings over long distance, this ____BECAME_called alternating current or

from one place to another without using wires. Although he

achievements, his name was given to the electric car company tesla motors in
