Our Plant has the capacity to melt and machine parts in iron and steel with weights
up to 30 tons, with a team of metallurgical, mechanical, and material engineers
who support the process.   We have a machining department with large capacity
machine tools (30 tons); and we have quality control laboratories to ensure
chemical compositions, metallography, and dimensions of our products

Translate the requirements of the detailed drawings of the parts into

measurements for production.

Carry out the appropriate installation and calibration procedures for all equipment
and accessories to be used in the projects.

Ensure that each machine procedure is performed in accordance with strict

company guidelines.

Follow all the company's security protocols.

Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day before
departure at the end of each shift.

Numerical control chip (CNC) start-up machining is what I like most about my work
because it separates excess material or waste using a tool consisting of one or
more edges or blades modeling the part in successive passes. The manufacturing
process consists of two phases:

Cutting process:

 Elimination of a lot of material with little precision. Finishing process.

 Elimination of little material with great precision.

Very nervous but safe when it comes to doing what I knew and operating the
machine

My skill is to imagine the assemblies and props, for assembling the parts for each
machining process. My weakness would be the little knowledge of programming
through CAD/CAM

My main reasons why I study Industrial engineering and like it is the possibility to
find employment in any sector.

Yes, we are considered as the strategists of the processes and objectives of each
of the organizations in which we can perform, since we always seek to make
efficient the processes that are being carried out and that is why I like my career.

My skills are the responsibility and commitment that I have when it comes to doing
and delivering my tasks on time, at the same time work in rotating shifts I arrive at
my house tired, exhausted lazily, wanting not to do anything, but thus fulfilling my
commitments I would like to arrive with more attitude.

What was your first day at University like?

It was a very exciting thing and at the same time nervous, thinking that I was going
to go wrong, but I had to do it in order to realize that, if I could, I also met many
colleagues on the first day of induction.

Not so far I don't realize.
