My Life during Pandemic

During this time of pandemic things are much different than they used to be. I
can’t go outside like I usually do and I can’t trust anyone right now because they might
infect me. I can say that my life change a lot. In the first month of COVID 19 my sister
lost her job and my father stop driving tricycle, but that’s alright because the
government gives relief goods and money for the less fortunate. But as the day goes by
we consume the money for the bills and food. It became so difficult for us to live
because we don’t have any source of income. But when the government shifted Metro
Manila to GCQ, Mayor Isko allowed tricycle drivers to travel and do their job again. My
father started to do his job and somehow we can eat delicious foods again like fried
chicken and we survive a day without starvation. The month of august came and I
celebrated my birthday, it’s just a simple celebration but I’m still happy because my
family and friends are healthy. And it’s also the start of online class, I don’t have wifi
connection and I’m not really ready for it but there is always a way so I make myself
ready and load 90 pesos for data connection every week. Then just this September my
sister got a call from her agency and got her new job. I’m so glad for her and I hope that
we can live normally again.

I learned a lot of things during this pandemic. I learn to appreciate the hardship
of my family and the importance of taking care of each other. I also learn to save
money, just buy the essentials and don’t waste it for not so important things. I realized
that there are no permanent things in this world, so always seize the moment and
leisure the time you spend with your family and friends outside. Before, I don’t really
care about the things I do outside and I easily get bored when I’m in school but now I
learned the importance of going outside and I realized that going to school is fun, I miss
it so bad. I also learned that it is very important to wash your hands everyday and be
careful of the things you touch it might have virus. And always sanitize your body
when you go outside and practice social distancing. I hope that this pandemic will end
soon and we can live normally like we use to do. Please be safe, healthy and pray to
God all the time.
