I
PINAINIT MO ANG LAMIG NG BUHAY KO, PANGINOON
AKO’Y IYONG BINUHAY
MULA SA MUNDONG WALANG KULAY
IKAW ANG NAG-AHON
NUNG AKO’Y TANGAY NG ALON
TAKOT AT BALISA
UNTI-UNTING NAWALA
PRE-CHORUS
IKA’Y AKING HIMIG
IKA’Y AKING TINIG
IKA’Y AKING PAG-IBIG
CHORUS
BANAL MONG SALITA ANG IYONG PANGAKO
PAG-IBIG MONG NAGING TULAY SA AKING BUHAY
BANAL MONG SALITA NA ‘DI MAGBABAGO
PINATATAG MO AKO SA MUNDO
DAHIL SA BANAL MONG SALITA
II
NAKATINGALA SA ULAP
NAGDARASAL AT NANGANGARAP
NA GAMITIN MO AKO SA MUNDONG KAY GULO-GULO
DAHIL SA ‘YO, HESUS NABUHAY AKO
NGAYONG KASAMA KA, ‘DI NA NAG-IISA
REPEAT PRE-CHORUS & CHORUS

IKAW ANG DIOS NA BUHAY
BINIGYAN MO AKO NG BUHAY

SONG STORY
Former grand finalist LJ Manzano takes on trusting God’s Word with his original gospel composition
entitled “Banal Mong Salita”.
With its poetic lyrical content and innovative melodic phrasing, the gospel song expresses faith in the
power of God’s Word amidst the coldness of life, fear, and anxiety.
“The song is very special to me because, aside from the fact that I wrote this based on my
experience, I know that this is also the same with other people who had bad experiences in life but
the Lord is still there to help us through,” he said in an interview.
After winning in a producer’s pick episode, he made some revisions on the lyrics believing that a
song improves with the judge’s perspective.
As an aspiring composer, Manzano has first joined ASOP in 2016 with his song entry “Pag-ibig Ka,
Oh Dios” interpreted by JBK in ASOP Year 5 Grand Finals.
Tawag ng Tanghalan’s R&B Charmer Mark Michael Garcia will be performing the song at the grand
finale.
