Curriculum is a detailed plan that serves as a guide in teaching every subject. It contains different
competencies like the knowledge, skills and values that a student need to acquire while learning a
specific subject. A good curriculum will help the learners to showcase or discover their talents
and skills, to have confidence in everything that they do, to respect their self as well as the other
people. Curriculum does not just have different lessons that will be tackled but also have those
attitudes and behavior to be shown. Teachers are the primary users of a curriculum that is why
teachers plays a big role in the implementation of a certain curriculum because they serve as the
pillar in such implementation. Without them curriculum will not be possible, for a reason that they
are the one who will practice and apply it in the classroom. They are responsible of practicing and
introducing the curriculum to the students. Since teachers knows what the student’s needs, skills
and what’s best for them in the learning process they will be able to make an effective curriculum.
The teachers are not alone in implementing a curriculum, experts and other specific heads in
education participated to create a more well defined curriculum. Every teachers follows a certain
curriculum in teaching to make sure that students will be able to learn and digest each topic
effectively. They are not just teachers they are also curriculum implementators.
