) Obviously, the manner on how Gloria prepared the shortlist of the applicants for interview is really is
wrong. As the assigned recruitment supervisor, she is expected to be someone who is not bias. It is a
must for her to follow the suitable qualifications and criterias being set by the company. She should
evaluate and assess their resumes based on their skills and not based on their personal connections with
her. The company might lose the opportunities to have an skilled and qualified employees because of
Mrs. Gloria's nonobjectivity in choosing their applicants.

2.) As I read the the case, what I can suggest is that, the company must always consider everything that
may affect the run of their organization like in choosing what kind of employee is to be assigned into a
certain position. Since recruitment supervisor is known to be one of the most crucial position inside an
organization, Mrs. Gloria must be serious when it comes to her job. That's why she must be professional
in doing her duty as an assigned supervisor of the company, her personal reasons must not affect her
decisions to have a fair result to everyone who applied for the hiring job. Or maybe, the company may
organize a training event for their employees to enhance more their skills to avoid this kind of dilemma.
