INTERNSHIP AND RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

1. BERT and Invoice OCR May’ 19 - July’19

 Machine Learning Intern at Arya.ai, Mumbai, India

 Implemented the Google BERT from scratch and trained it on medical data to perform downstream NLP
tasks. Achieved an accuracy of 71.5% on the first run.
 Experimented with tesseract and trained it to increase its accuracy for detecting texts.
 Developed models for Optical Character Recognition particularly for Invoices only, using LSTM and CTC
loss and compared the accuracy with convolution network based model.

2. Localization of Objects in Image Data Sep’ 18 – Nov’18

Machine Learning Engineer at RoboFied , Remote Internship

 Worked with Image Data for Localization and Identification of objects and produce new aspects using
Conditional GAN’s.
 Image Processing for various datasets in order to increase the accuracy of models and to document the
working of the same.

3. Data Migration May’18 – July’18

Database Manager at MGS Ford, Lucknow, India

 Worked with Database managers with MS Excel tasks.
 Uploading and managing of sales data.

4. Smart Farming System April’18 - Present

 Working on how AI can improve Agriculture in India.

 Using Deep Learning models such as Dense Net and Squeeze Net on differentiating different kinds of crops
and checking the health of plants.

PROJECTS

1. Commercial Centers Using POI data Nov’19 – Nov’19

 The task is to create clusters of distinct commercial centers or markets using point of interest data of a city.
 POI data provides location information of different places along with their tags like school, type of outlets, etc.

2. Automatic Attendance System Aug’18 – Sep’18

 Using Face Recognition technique as a base, the automated system is generated.

 Face is recognised and matched with the database which is stored as vectors along with labels.

3 . Gender Based Emotion Recognition Aug’18 – Nov’18

  The System recognises the gender of person and predicts its emotion simultaneously.
 Uses VGG16 architecture along with 4 more added convolution layers with activation as relu.

4 . Statefarm Distracted driver detection

 Kaggle competition in which given driver images, each taken in a car with a driver doing something in the car
and the goal is to predict activity of each driver.

5. bAbi Questionnaire May’18 - June’18

 Using end- to-end memory network to answer the questions about the said story.

6 . Machine Learning Algorithm Classifier Feb’18 – May’18

 Software GUI inspired from WEKA having algorithms like Decision Trees, Logistic Regression, and Gradient
boosting Classifier.
