HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT ASSIGNMENT

Worthy things often come with dust on it; some overlook it as they are, while some hunt for
that value despite being walled by dust. Such is the situation with a positive attitude. Most of us
believe we have this slant towards our lives, but practically, pessimism (negativity) is what the
mind fascinates the first mostly.

1. POSITIVE ATTITUDE ANIMATION ~ VIDEO

Before I talk about the mentioned deliverables, we as humankind have won the majority
in developing the culture influenced by the structure a human has; attributes play a
significant part today, don’t they? The video is around this only. How and what response
the disabled boy gets from his environment influences him to do the same with one just
like him, in this, the puppy. Coincidently, both have deformity with their leg. What’s not
a coincidence over here is their approach towards themselves. 
a) How can change be brought?
Considering the fact, having the same situation, eventually, there’s a simple process to
follow. The boy is with a problem (his leg); if he can do anything about it (treatment),
then why to worry; if he can’t do anything about it, then why to get depressed over
something that you can do nothing about. The ideology here is; that puppy came like this
process. For a boy, that change was a puppy, and it took one lesson that fits with his
situation. Thinking about what made him different negatively can be changed if he
believes what positively differing him. Positive things are just like the small puppy, it
takes time to notice them, but those things get your eye on all the time when it happens.
Here change is by deviating your mind towards such small positive things in you. 
b) How to practice?
Eventually, old habits die hard. In this case, a positive attitude could be practiced by
focusing on the good things you have to cherish. Enjoying the childhood days and
making the best out of it would be something the boy must hit off initially. Not everyone
has puppies in their home (I want). Adopting something positive is different, but
continuing with such is tough. In such a case, a positive environment could be an
efficient move. Surroundings influence our behavior to a great extent. Such could blend

with negative self-talk to positive self-talk—all it takes a positive mind and positivity
before eyes.
2. DEREK REDMOND – YOU RAISE ME UP ~ VIDEO
Olympics, for a sportsperson, it's nothing less than a heaven. Years of hard work,
dedication, and focus, but only a few get to participate in it. As a sportsperson (martial
artist), I could relate when it comes to handling defeats in such. But this video has those
goosebumps things. Injuries in sports taken quite seriously, and torn hamstring could
worsen if not given attention. Here, the sprinter, after fumbling in the middle of it though
of nothing but to finish the race.
a) How can change be brought?
The sprinter would have been the most significant source of inspiration in front of the
crowd. The example shows a clear message to the audience. Looking at the brighter and
positive side and even after so much of cons is what makes a person optimistic.
Ultimately, not only sportspersons, but everyone should have this approach, and this is
what life demands from everyone. Despite facing such an unfortunate thing that too at the
most regrettable time one could even think of and despite it showing the courage not to
quit but to finish the race grows such deeds of doing this in you. The change could be
brought by setting examples like this, accepting what went wrong and pulling yourself
towards the positive side, and getting the deserving response from it.
b) How to practice
I believe such things get to develop in you; all you need is to have that great faith within
yourself. Such things come with a lesson and what brings the positivity is that
opportunities come in abundance (might not be in-context to Olympics). Learning from it
and developing its sense can make such happen and impart the ultimate positive
approach. Losing faith would not only depict your negative side but would also
demotivate you for the next opportunities. All it takes to have that positive self-talk, and
this would bring the confidence within you. Focusing on good things and keeping aside
negativity blends well with self-confidence.
