My test Results Prakrti: Vata dosha and Pitta dosha
The physical constitution with which I was born, is a
mixture of Vata and Pitta, with Vata slightly predominant, that is, I am not as Vata as Pita. This is a characteristic that does not change and represents your natural and normal state of being. As a Vata-Pitta, I am more likely to get sunburned than as a pure Vata, but it is better than being a pure Pitta. So I'm probably better proportioned, stronger, and a little less fickle and nervous than your pure Vata friends.
Mind Type: Samdoshaja
I seem to be perfectly balanced mentally between the three doshas. While this is possible, it is quite rare. My physical imbalanced This means that one of the three doshas is excessive. In my case, I have more Kapha dosha. Than vata and pitta dosha.
Kapha imbalanced include:
• Sleepiness and excessive sleepiness
• Laziness, lethargy and heaviness of the body • Excess mucus production and excessive body excretion • Obesity, anorexia nervosa, indigestion • Mucus around the heart or in the throat. • Hypertension, atherosclerosis (narrowing of the arteries) • Diabetes Treatment I should:
• Get up and get to work. Sleep between 6 and
8 hours only. I must sleep more than before. • I must get more physical and mental exercise than before. • Have a very light breakfast, • Eat a large lunch followed by a brisk walk and a moderate dinner. • One day a week, fasting. • Stick to bitter, spicy and astringent foods. • Don't drink with meals and actually drink less. • An occasional trip to the sauna or a hot bath to promote sweating is also a good idea. • Have regular sex! My psychological imbalance is not the same dosha as my physical imbalance (vata and kapha). Therefore, the actions I take to reduce my physical imbalance will not help my psychological imbalance. I can use aromatherapy to reduce my psychological symptoms while working with diet and lifestyle to reduce my physical imbalance.
