OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT

Sindicato Cristiano a contracting company is planning to create a Cloud Accounting
System for their entity.

OBJECTIVES
The objective of this project is to execute financial functions like recording enterprises
transactions information and allow employees in other departments, remote or branch
offices to access the same data and the same version of the software. The project will
start mid-October and will finish at day of New Year’s evening. (October 15, 2020-
January 01, 2021)

SCOPE
The scope of PROJECT ACCLOUDTANT for cloud based accounting system are listed
below:
1. Accounting software systems should be able to handle billing, keeping track of
what clients owe (accounts receivable, or A/R) and their payments.
2. Standard reports - the system should be able to generate the customary reports
used in business, including income statements (profit and loss), balance sheets
(assets and liabilities), statements of cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts
payable and payroll summary.

3. Automatic invoicing - automated statements and late reminders, the accounting

software acts as your collection department, reminding customers to pay their
bills. 

4. Automatic payment – tracks your accounts payable and completely automate your
payment processes
5. Direct deposit - their paychecks to be deposited directly into their bank accounts.
6. Automatic tax calculations - handling only the basic deductions to providing
sophisticated tax tables and printing relevant forms

7. Graph summaries – the software that can translate data into pictorial forms such as
pie and bar charts can help you make sense of where your money is going.

8. Cost predictions - a system that can interpret data, make statistical analyses and
produce forecasts can help you make financial decisions based on facts, not
guesswork. Look for systems that include budgeting, estimating and other cost
functions.
