How to write a comment

A comment is something that you say which expresses your opinion of


something or which gives an explanation of it.

Important tips:

● Brainstorm ideas and choose the best ones;


● organise your answer in a logical way using paragraphs and a
variety of connectors;
● write short and clear sentences;
● use accurate spelling and punctuation;
● include examples to support your views if necessary;
● vary your connectors…

Comment on the following quotation by Matt Richtel:

“Scientists say juggling e-mail, phone calls and other incoming information can
change how people think and behave. They say our ability to focus is being
undermined by bursts of information.”

I totally agree with Richtel because, from where I stand, working on multiple
tasks at the same time can compromise our ability to focus on just one.
Nowadays, due to the abundance of technology that we have at our disposal,
we have the constant need of being informed about everything in real time, for
instance, by using our smart phones, even when we are working or studying. As
a result, information is destroying our concentration skill since we always want
to be in touch with everything.
