Comment on Charlotte Bronte’s attitude to religion.

Why did she poetry the different characters

having different religious perspectives in the same context?

Jane Eyre, intermittently passing by religious references both casual and explicit. Since it can be argued
that Jane Eyre is at least in some ways a reflection of Bronte the secluded upbringing in Haworth
Parsonage, the sheltered life and consequently limited knowledge of the world. Although I believe there
is definitely some specific relationship between the religious views of Jane and Bronte, I can not decide
what I think it is exactly. I am unsure whether I believe Jane views are an explicit portrayal of Bronte is
own, or id Bronte of drastically different beliefs and Jane is own inadvertently causing the reader to
think about it all, whether consciously or subconsciously to show the reader questions and issues that
Bronte herself has had to deal with throughout her life with regard to faith. When Jane is spending time
with slowly dying Helen Burns. When Helen, who is so well versed and knowledgeable in both the
education Lo-wood has given her and of her teaching in religion, reassures Jane that she will be going to
God and that she has faith, Jane expresses obvious doubt, which we can see her continual questioning
of Helen.
The relationship we see between Helen and Jane is almost like that of teacher and pupil,Helen imparts
essentially the same religious values taught at L-wood, but in a much more relatable form at least for
Jane. I think that Bronte want us to take at least something away from Helen is dying speech, from her
unconditional faith, from her wisdom.

Why did Charlotte Bronte use gothic elements in Jane Eyre? Is there any psychological issue to be
disclosed in this text? Please disclose id there any…..

The Gothic tradition utilize elements such as super natural encounters, remote locations, complicated
family histories, ancient manor houses, dark secrets, and mysterious to create an atmosphere of
suspense and terror, and the plot of Jane Eyre includes most of these elements. Lo wood, moor House,
and Thornfield are all remote locations, and Thornfield, like Gateshead, is also an ancient manor house.
Both Rochester and Jane possess complicated family histories – Rochester’s hidden wife, Bertha, is the
dark secret at the novel’s core. The exposure of Bertha is one of the most important moments in the
novel, and the mystery surrounding her is the main source of the novel ‘s suspence.
