To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure that I write in recommendation of Madison Purich, a

quality young woman I have known as a student teacher in my classroom at
Commonwealth Charter Academy, a public cyber charter school.

Madison was placed in my Supplemental 3rd grade Special Education Math

course. While completely new to cyber teaching, Madison jumped right in to learn
more about it. Madison was not afraid to learn new programs and ways to teach in a
cyber environment. She quickly built rapport with the students and was able to
understand the students’ strengths and weaknesses. Madison took on modifying
lessons and assessments for the students and quickly understood when to challenge
the students and when to offer more support.

Madison exhibits many qualities of an excellent educator. Her caring nature,

warm personality, rapport with students and knowledge of student abilities allows
her to be a successful educator. Madison exhibited strong classroom management
skills throughout her placement, learning how to keep students on task in a cyber
environment. She is a diligent in her preparation and presentation of daily
responsibilities.

Madison’s willingness to take suggestions, modify lessons, and experiment with

new strategies demonstrated her motivation and reflection about teaching and
learning. Madison took initiative. She recognized if something needed to be done,
and she did it.

I strongly recommend Madison Purich for a Special Education Elementary

Teacher position. She has shown that she is able to adapt in a cyber environment,
she is mature, dependable, and respectful. I am confident she would be an asset to
any elementary Special Education team!

Sincerely,

Melissa White
