Simple Yet Unpredictable; How Is This Person Portrayed In Social Media.

We wear different kind of mask in facing facade of people. Portraying a number of

personalities that shows a variety of versions in telling our story. The crowd describes how we
will behave as it was then manageable, like choosing an appropriate clothes to wear in
attending an occasion. But the world was getting bigger now as technology comes between the
interaction. In this world where virtual interaction do exist and demand, how will you introduce
yourself and tell your story? How will you figure out your image within these virtual means.

By the modernization of socialization, the technology came up to introduce us the

social media. A medium where we are able to reach out thousand of people in just simple
clicks. Facebook as one of these social media become the biggest platform of interaction. It was
occupied by a large number of user that made you feel you're in an expanded world of
socialization. As one of its billion users, I limited any introduction and portrayal of my real self
and personality. I chose to be private or limited with most of my uploaded photos, and mostly
seems to be seen inactive. I doesn't exactly tell my story within this virtual means of
socialization because I believe that telling my story within this platform is complicated. My
virtual profile doesn't merely describe who I really am in person. These virtual means figure out
my image as simple like all the visible short descriptions and minimal updates, and that's how I
simply portray myself in social media- simple yet unpredictable.

In this world where virtual interaction do exist and demand, it's up to you to show
off all your real description, story and personality. It is definitely your choice on how you will
figure out your image within these virtual means. But the mere and most important thing to
take note is that, whatever happens don't ever let this social media control you as to how the
crowd wanted and demand. Be yourself. Don't pretend. Come as you are, because your real life
friends and interaction was really better than having the perfect life and a lot of friends within
the virtual world.
