ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY: Production of Products using Plastics

Plastic is becoming too common in the world today and we use it in our daily life. There is a
high amount of plastic produce in every day. Plastic have a wide range of usability in our day to
day lives. For instance, we use them in our food beverage such as straw, plastic bottles and etc.
Also, we use them to carry our foodstuff from groceries mall or a trash bin in our house.
Basically, using of plastic can be improvised to do many things that can help you in everyday
lives. The main reason why we choose plastic in our daily life because it is cheaper than eco-
friendly bag. Moreover, plastic bag are water proof and very convenient for us while we buy our
food in wet market. Unfortunately, plastic pollution is damaging our environment rapidly and
waste plastic material is hard to dispose of and contributes to major pollution on earth. In study,
plastic are more time to decay it can be long in years or decay other than other substance.
Although, we more convenient in using plastic, it is more harmful in environment especially in
ocean. Many sea creatures and organism are affected in plastic pollution such as fish, whales, sea
turtles, and other marine mammals, and more than 1 million of them die in every day that cause
of plastic pollution.

Basically I would not agree in production of plastics because it cause of pollution for animals
and also for us. As students, I would like to become a voice for the people and give knowledge
about the plastic pollution because Filipinos are not oriented in this issues and lack of knowledge
in proper using of plastic.
