I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of science and the fact the everything around us is

related in a way or the other. It’s like the only significant common bound you can find only
by looking at things in front of you, water, ground, air. Every single material thing is made
out of specific atoms and cells.

As a child I was fascinated by chemistry experiments always wondering how it is possible to

make a particular substance blow up and I promised to discover this by myself one day.
Something that sparked inside me since the beginning of highschool was the absolute
dream of saving people lives through medicine. I found nothing else more noble than
dedicating your life to help others, cure illnesses and save this unique and powerful thing we
call life. It’s such a complex block of knowledge that so little of us are capable and have the
drive will to become involved. I see it rather a privilege than a job. I’ve been hardworking
since I was little. The education I received as a child evolved around the fact the hard work
pays off. You cannot work for something if you do not want it bad enough. If you put your
heart and soul into a thing you really want to achieve you will succeed. Something my father
thought me when I had to take a very important exam was that if I want to reach a 10 in an
exam I have to work for an eleven.

I was drawn to the idea of studying science since elementary school and I had my first
contact with it and it really intrigued me because I wanted to discover more, I was always
keen on learning more and watched documentaries, I was drawn aback by the animal
behavior. Later I chose the natural science profile only to find more about what interested
me. I began studying biology at a higher level and discovered a passion for the human
anatomy.

I wanted to gain an insight into what means to study biomedicine in UK and I signed up into
an experience program camp in Cambridge. I had the opportunity to learn something from
the most experienced teachers and in the same time experience.
