DNA Bridge
DNA Bridge or often called Helix Bridge
is the first bridge that has structure like
DNA. This bridge is the first arched
bridge in the world and also it’s the
longest bridge in Singapore.
DNA Bridge or Helix Bridge is located in
Marina Bay, Singapore. Precisely, near
the Bayfront Bridge and Benjamin Shears
Bridge. This bridge connected to the
Helix Bridge’s construction requires 650
tons of duplex stainless steel and 1000
tonnes of carbon steel to produce a
strong, beautiful, amazing, and
incredible bridge.
Helix Bridge has length 280 meters and
also has a special road for pedestrians.
Along the bridge there are seats
available as the resting place of people
who are tired of walking.
The bridge that finally opened
on 18 July 2010 was
deliberately constructed to
serve as the next landmark of
Singapore. This bridge picks
the cool air in the morning
and beautiful landscapes at
night with the support of the
sparkly lights. We also can
see paintings and drawings of
young people along its
junction and see the stunning
views of the Singapore skyline.

firm, Cox Group and engineers
Arup, and assisted by a native
Singapore architectural firm,
which is handled by Architects
