One or more Assignment (slot/windows to upload your answers in PDF format) 4. Question Paper and Writing the Answers: 4.1 For 3.00 credit course, the normal time for answering the question paper is 3 hours, and for 1 or 1.5 credit course, it is 2 hours. However, additional time of 30 minutes is being provided for complying with the submission modalities. 4.2 It is compulsory to write the answers on only A4 size papers. Please ensure that the picture file created from the write-up is legible. Use only blue coloured pen for writing the answers. 4.3 It is compulsory to write your Roll No., Course Code and Course Name and Date of Examination on the front page of answer sheet. 4.4 You are required to write your Roll Number on top right of each page. 4.5 Read the instructions appearing along with this question paper and follow these instructions carefully. Also, note down the ‘cut-off date and time’. 4.6 PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS IN HAND- WRITTEN MODE, FIRST. THEN, YOU WILL CONVER IT INTO A PDF FOR UPLOADING. 4.7 On clicking the question paper, a PDF file will be downloaded on your computer. If you face any problems in downloading it, then please inform the course faculty through email/SMS/WhatsApp. In case of any such problems, please do not lose patience as the faculty would be busy answering many such queries, particularly in first half an hour from the scheduled start time. As a matter of fact, additional time of half an hour is provided keeping in mind such exigencies. Therefore, no extension of time will be considered under such normal/routine problems. 4.8 Make it a point to submit the answers as soon as you complete them. Keeping them on hold for editing later may result into a disaster in the sense that towards the completion of the time, you may face connectivity and other such problems, and cannot submit your work. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ADDITIOANL HALF AN HOUR IS ONLY A GRACE TIME FOR COMPLYING WITH SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS. Moodle will stop accepting submissions after the grace period of half an hour. However, if you fail to submit due to any technical problems during that period, please immediately write a mail to the concerned faculty citing valid reasons for allowing you to submit your work through mail. Upon receiving the permission from the faculty, immediately submit through mail. The faculty will communicate to you to again submit it on Moodle at a specified time for the purpose of record. Towards that, the faculty will again open the submission window for a short duration. Requests received with only valid reasons during the grace period of half an hour will be considered by the faculty. Any late submissions without the permission will not be considered. 5 Uploading the Answers: 5.1 Please note that you have to upload answers in either a single file or question-wise multiple files as instructed by the faculty. Accordingly, one or more submission windows/slots will be created. In case of question-wise submissions, say if there are five questions, then five submission windows will be made available to you. Please ensure that you submit the right question to the right window. 5.2 You will have to take pictures of the page-wise write-ups. Ensure that the picture covers the entire page with some open margins on all the four sides. 5.3 Ensure that a particular answer running into any number of pages is compiled as only one PDF. Towards that, you may use any App like Adobe Scan. As an illustration, the use of the Adobe Scan App is illustrated below. - It can be easily downloaded from the Play Store in any android or iOS device. The link to the same is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.scan.android - After downloading the application, you need to click the pictures in the mode of document and the same can be saved as a PDF. The application also gives the option of sharing the copy and saving it to different devices. 6. In order to avoid any problems at the time of submission, you are advised to practice creating such a PDF file that has more than one pages. 7. Noncompliance of the instructions will attract penalty in the form of not considering the submission for the assessment. 8. If the LMS does not open in Google/Chrome, then try with Firefox.
