provide treatment for acute and chronic diseases across primary, secondary, and tertiary care sectors. Apollo's tertiary

such as pre-commissioning consultancy services which include feasibility studies, infrastructure planning and design
advisory services, human resource planning, recruitment and training and medical equipment planning, and sourcing and
installation services. Apollo also provides post-commissioning consultancy services, which include management
contracts (providing day-to-day operational support), franchising and technical consultation (such as human resource
planning and training and the establishment of medical and administrative protocols).
The company's pharmacy segment operates around 1,503 stand-alone pharmacies in India under the Apollo Pharmacy
brand. Its stand-alone pharmacies offer a range of medicines, hospital consumables, surgical and health products and
general over-the-counter products. Apollo also offers services, including prescription refilling, distribution of free health
newsletters and health insurance plans. The company is also engaged in the provision of clinical and diagnostics
services through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited. The company operates primary care
clinics, which provide a range of healthcare services, ranging from basic to advanced consultation and diagnostic tests
Apollo's clinics also include a pharmacy and provide telemedicine facilities.
Apollo's others segment offers services, including medical insurance, healthcare BPO (business process outsourcing)
(mBPO), telemedicine, education and training programs, and research. The company provides health insurance through
a joint venture Munich Re, an insurance company.
