Making my splice and joints is indeed hard to do because of the wire I bought and the twisting

and turning of it. My wire is a quite thick copper wire that is really hard to bend so I need two

pliers, the combination pliers and the long-nose pliers. Before twisting, turning or bending the

wire, I need to strip the wire first. I peeled its rubber skin off. Since I don't have a wire stripper, I

used my cutter. I spend approximately 2 hours in making my splices and joints. In making the

Rat Tail Joint, I wrapped them together symmetrically, twisting them both. The next splice that I

made is the Western Union Long Tie. I joined and twisted two ends of the wire together.

Meanwhile, the Western Union Short Tie is similar to the Western Union Long Tie. But the

difference is, this Short Tie is used for interior wiring while the Long Tie is used for outside

wiring. They are both used for the same purpose. Afterwards, I made the Knotted Tap. I brought

a wire over the main wire, around itself, and finally over the main wire so that it forms a knot.

Lastly, I made the cross joint. I combined two wires placed side by side with each other in the

main wire. The making of these splices or joints is also challenging. I learned to be patient. I

learned to be strong physically.
