On Tuesday Mr. Rahman discussed about :

2. LMS which is a software system that can help plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate a
lesson. Where the teacher or lecturer can easily provide learning material and assignments online
then provide an assessment or evaluation report to students or students. The advantages of this
LMS-based e-learning method are that it can save costs, time, flexibility, and teaching and
learning activities to be more effective and efficient. Besides that for students who are usually
not very active in the class because of lack of confidence can be very helpful.

 For prior knowledge, students writing material to be discussed for the next
meeting were given time to collect assignments from Friday to Monday at the
same time, ie until 23.59 pm.
Medical Termonology

Medical terminology is a special language used by practitioners in the health sector, for
example doctors, nurses, midwives and others. Which has the aim to introduce the basics of
establishing medical terminology, so students will be able to recognize and learn the terms that
will be found when studying nursing, medicine, midwifery and others.

Medical terminology is a term or words that can describe the human body, components,
conditions and processes related to scientifically and accurately.

The structure of medical terminology.

1. The root word, located in the middle of a word, usually describes a part of the body.

Example:

 Gastric, the root says: Gast means: Stomach.


 Hyperthemia, the root word: therm means: heat

2. The prefix, located at the front of the term, is added to modify the root of the word to
add size, shape, number, color, direction, amount and so on.

Example:

 Megacolon, prefix: Mega means: enlargement.

3. Suffix, added at the end of the root word to provide additional meaning such as
condition, disease, size, color, problem and others.

Example:

 Gastritis, suffixnya: itis means: inflammation.
