Google is well-known and has many different

Logos, but this logo presents a simplistic design and


well-use of proportion; It could fit into a square or
circle. The logo uses 4 colours of red, yellow, green,
and blue, but these colours all relate. These colours
are primary colours, and give viewers a “pop” to
attract people’s attention. The logo could be shrunk
to fit in an ID card and enlarged to perfectly place on
a billboard. To further talk about this logo, the design is primarily based on elements of colour
and shape. It is a well-made graphic design logo by Google.

There have been many changes of Pepsi logo, since 1993, and the present
logo was created through many adjustments in 2008, to make it relevant
to the consumers. There hasn’t been much change except the use of
negative space, proportion, and scale. The logo at the moment is a
simplistic design with 2 contrasting colours, red and blue, along with
white space in between. The logo uses an element of balance between red
and blue; it is designed to look as a whole but red and blue are partially
apart from each other, which arise interest, and uniqueness in the logo.
The logo overall seems great, however, it somewhat looks empty without
fonts or letters, representing their company.

Nike is undeniably the largest company that was affected


impactfully by the unique and simple design of the logo.
Nike is one of the largest sport companies around the
globe, and its logo design was created to convey motion.
Also it is derived from, ‘wing’, ‘swooosh’, which
symbolizes speed, power, movement, and motivation.
Looking at the logo itself, I was able to tell whether or not what subject the logo is referring to.
The logo uses proportion, colour, scale, and shape relevantly, which created this amazing, not
complex, but simple graphic logo design.
Apple has been well known for their clean, simple, and sharp design of
their logo. Rob Janoff is the creator of the apple logo and apple’s logo has
been kept the same since creation. Their simple design of the logo has
many meanings, but one of them represents knowledge about the falling
fruit that led Issac Newton to discover the gravity concept.

Burger King logo is an example of text logo, which consists of catchy colours:
yellow, red, blue and easily readable font. The logo was created first in 1967,
by ​James McLamore and David Edgerton as a base, and throughout time, the
logo was changed into a circular appearance, with a little tilt of fonts, plus it is
occupied with vibrant colours. Burger King has been famous for selling their
burgers since decades ago, and their logo presents a hamburger, which
reminds the consumers what they sell. It is unique, not too boring, and the
logo is very suitable for what they sell at their restaurants.

Amazon is well known for selling items and


accessories on the web. Amazon’s logo has nothing
unique, except the yellow arrow pointing from “a” to
“z”. The arrow means amazon sells everything that
starts with the letter “a” to “z”. It also represents a
smile that customers will experience by shopping on
amazon. The logo is designed to be straightforward
and simple for consumers. It uses two colours: black
and yellow which is very attractive.
At a glance, people could see KFC has run for a long time
regarding the elderly man in the logo. It is one of the famous
fast food brands, and the logo consists of popping effects
through making lines extremely bold and creating shadows,
which initially attracted people’s attention. The logo is
circular, and uses elements of scale, proportion, and colours:
white, red, black, and skin tone. The word KFC stands for
Kentucky Fried Chicken and the person on the logo gives a
warming smile - inviting and welcoming customers with warmth.

Looking at the logo, viewers could see the vibe of


trendiness and freshness from the design. The logo uses
contrasting colours, cyan, red, and black, giving the
overall logo a “pop”. The design of the logo looks like a
note, related to music, with a simple, and plain font
below. The fun, and unique logo targets young teens for
music and it is simply recognizable; almost impossible
to forget because it is a world-wide app that most
teenagers use.

Netflix is one of the largest apps that people around the


world use. Netflix logo is undeniably the most relevant
logo people will ever see. Netflix is one of the examples
of a great logo design. The colours red and black are used
to create a more cinematic feeling and they use special
effects and designating features on the logo for viewers to
perceive a similar affection when they’re at cinemas. The
font is plain, but letters are arranged round, which gives a
bit of 3D effect. The logo is suitable to influence people to
buy their membership, if they want entertainment and cinematics at home.
Tim Hortons is one of the famous and largest
fast-food establishments and no doubt, people
living in Canada would all have seen the logo. Tim
Hortons mainly sells coffee which caused a slight
altar to change their styles of logo. The logo
consists of red, which gives customers a warm
feeling, and cursive font for fanciness. The overall
logo gives viewers a welcoming and attraction. It
is a simplistic design, but fancy. It is appropriate
and a great logo design for a fast-food restaurant.

Yahoo’s logo is really simple and easily


recognizable. It consists of one colour,
purple, and round font. Yahoo is an internet
portal that connects web to web, but other
companies like google and safari had far
better logos and accessibilities which led
yahoo to a downfall. The exclamation mark
on Yahoo! highlights excitement, which
excludes boredom. The logo designer wanted
to highlight that it is what people will
experience using yahoo!

Logo is very important for gaming companies. League of


Legends is a game created by riot, and it is one of the
games that changed logos multiple times throughout the
time. This logo represents the first season of League of
Legends. It is simple and balanced, but it doesn’t show
any uniqueness. The logo uses yellow as their main
colour and black to outline shadows. This logo is a boring
presentation of the game but as the logo changed, people
became willing to experience the game, which proves the
essentialness of logos.
