1. Activity one
A: Step one: watch the Video: Meeting People 1 - English Conversations. While
watching listen and repeat the conversation. As learning evident you have to
record the role play practice and upload.

Conversation 1:
-Hello, my name is Harold. What your name?
-My name´s Janet, it´s nice to meet you Harold
- It´s nice to meet you too, Janet
Conversation 2:
- Hello Paul. I´m Karen

B: Role play: With partners from your studying group, via skype, practice the
four model conversation in the video.
C: Focus on language: Look at the script of the video. With a partner find and
write down:

2- one way to greet new people: It´s nice to meed you too Janet
4- one way to tell you are glad to meet a friend: Nice to meet you
5- One way to confirm other people’s names: hi, your name is Harold, isn´t it?

page 3 of the textbook and write the correct formal titles.
B: Role play: Imagine three of your partners are famous people. Introduce your
partners to the class. Use formal titles.
