TRIAL OF BHAGT SINGH

The style and arrangement of the writing in the handbills struck British insight
as suspiciously commonplace. The arrangement and style in these handbills
were like the style and organization of the written by hand banners that declared
the homicide of Saunders and which had been put on the city's dividers. The
British started to presume that Bhagat Singh was one of Saunder's executioners.
He was singled out as the creator of the content on the pamphlets just as on the
banners. Bhagat Singh was accused of endeavour to kill under area 307 of the
Indian Penal Code. Asaf Ali, an individual from the Congress Party was his
legal advisor.
The Trial began on 7 May, 1929. The Crown was spoken to by the open
investigator Rai Bahadur Suryanarayana and the preliminary officer was a
British Judge, P.B Pool. The way wherein the indictment introduced its case left
Bhagat Singh in most likely that the British were out to nail him. The
indictment's star observer was Sergeant Terry who said that a gun had been
found on Bhagat Singh's individual when he was captured in the Assembly.
This was not truly right in light of the fact that Bhagat Singh had himself given
up the gun while requesting that the police capture him. Indeed, even the eleven
observers who said that they had seen the two tossing the bombs appeared to
have been coached.
