KEEPING OUR WATERS CLEAN

Not everyone has access to clean water, it's a luxury.

Millions of people around the world don't have access to
clean drinking water. Contaminated water and poor
sanitation are two of the leading causes of poverty and
disease in the world's pooresr country.

Research & Development

You will need to find out why clean water is a necessity, and what
life would be like without it.
How does water become polluted, and how can we prevent it
from becoming so?
You will create posters and videos to present this information.

Design & Create

You will visit Groundwater Replenishment Centre for
an excursion and will investigate the process of
recycling and filtering water in Perth.
You will need to design and create an instructional
poster on how to build an at home water filter out of
recycled materials.
We will then build the water filters in class and test
how effective they are at turning dirty water into clean
water.

Present your work

You will put together a presentation on Google
Slides of all the content you've researched and
created over the past few weeks, ranging fro your
brainstorms in lesson 1 all the way to your water
filter experiment you made in the previous lesson.
