Homework

A. Choose a song in English which you really like and which is available on YouTube. Insert
the link here and let me know, in a paragraph, why you like this particular song.

Is’s hard for me to choose a song in English because I don’t listen to any music (in Romanian
or English). I don’t like any music because I don’t understand why an idea is repetitive or is
“expanded” (many stanzas which can be reduce to a single idea or in each stanza is the same
idea).
Despite of this, I can say I like “Blessed Be Your Name” because it reminds me of a camp in
Austria (this song was the hymn of my team).

B. Answer the following questions:

a) Which lesson/class do you do most preparation for at school?


b) Are there any rules and regulations in your school that you think are unnecessary?
c) Have you ever given a public performance? How was it?
d) Do you take risks easily? Is it a good or a bad thing to take risks?
e) How would you feel if a friend gave you an unexpected present?
f) How would you feel and what would you do if you thought a stranger was following you?

Answers:

a) I think I do most preparation for English lessons. I always need a lot of time for this.
b) I think there are not unnecessary rules in my school.
c) I did once, but is was a game in a children camp. It’s was funny, I was a clown.
d) Yes. It depends on situations, you have to know when to take the risks.
e) I would be happy.
f) I think I wouldn’t notice that. If I would feel that, I would call 112 or write a message to 113.
