The crow remembered what the hawk had done. It believed it could do the same. One day, while the sphered 牧 羊 was away, the crow flew down to catch a lamb like the hawk did. The crow was not as strong as the hawk. So, it could not lift 举起 the lamb up. Furthermore, its legs got stuck tightly 坚固 in the lamb’s wool 羊毛. The crow could not fly away. The shepherd saw the crow stuck on the lamb. He caught it and trimmed 修剪 its wings and took it home to his child. His child asked, “Daddy, what kind of bird is this?” He answered, “This is the crow which thinks it is like the great hawk.” The moral of the story is know your limitation 极
