CORRIGENDUM: The original article which appeared in Am J Hematol, 95: E131-E134. contains one typographical error in the sentence “; the
median age of ICU patients was 54 years old while the median age of non-ICU patients was 42 years old (P = .02).” instead of. “; the median age
of ICU patients was 54 years old while the median age of non-ICU patients was 41 years old (P = .02).” The authors apologize for any confusion
regarding this point.
