Phase 1st

A fracture is the medical term for a broken bone. 

Fractures are common; the average person have two during a lifetime. They occur when the
physical force exerted on the bone is stronger than the bone itself. 

Broken bones are very common in childhood, though children's fractures are generally less
complicated than fractures in adults. As you age, your bones become more brittle and you are
more likely to suffer fractures from falls that would not occur when you were young.

There are many types of fractures, but the main categories are displaced, non-displaced, open,
and closed. Displaced and non-displaced fractures refer to the way the bone breaks. 

In a displaced fracture, the bone snaps into two or more parts and moves so that the two ends are
not lined up straight. If the bone is in many pieces, it is called a comminuted fracture. In a non-
displaced fracture, the bone cracks either part or all of the way through, but does move and
maintains its proper alignment.

A closed fracture is when the bone breaks but there is no puncture or open wound in the skin. An
open fracture is one in which the bone breaks through the skin; it may then recede back into the
wound and not be visible through the skin. This is an important difference from a closed fracture
because with an open fracture there is a risk of a deep bone infection.

Phase 2nd
Aziz’s, 21 years old is a student of Airlangga University. He loves sport, and Basketball is the
most. He always do exercises when he have a free time, cause he want to enter the University
team and also played for major league. He fall in love with basket ball since he was in Junior
highschool. And here’s the story..

1st Scene
(One day in Airlangga University after mid semester exam)
Sondi : Hallo bro, How’s your exam ?
Aziz’s : Hmmm.. is more difficult than I thought, how about you ?
Sondi : Yeah, those questions drove me crazy bro, ha ha ha..
Aziz’s : yeah. I agree with you, maybe the lecturer in a really good mood whenever he made it
Sondi : hahaha that’s the point dude
Aziz’s : Hey sondi, I think we have to work out after this hard day ?
Sondi : Good idea, What will we do ?
Aziz’s : How about basketball ?
Sondi : Sounds great, I’d love too..
Aziz’s : Okay, See you at the court 4 O’clock !
Sondi : Okey see you bro !

2nd Scene
Rama : Momy, is Aziz’s already at home ?
Vina : Not, yet dad
Rama : Mom, would you like to make me some tea please ?
Vina : With a pleasure dad..
Aziz’s : Assalamualikum…..
Vina and Rama : Waalaikumsalam…. Hi, son how about your mid exam, is everything
good ?
Aziz’s : I’ve try my best dad hehehe..
Rama : I hope you got a good mark son..
Aziz’s : Thank’s dad I hope it so.
Vina : Aziz’s come here, have a lunch !
Aziz’s : Thank’s mom but I’m already full..
( Aziz’s go to his room and prepare to go to basketball court )
Vina : Where would you go son ?
Aziz’s : Hmmmmm… I’d like to play basketball with my friend mom just for recharged my
body
Rama : Basketball again, again, and again..
Vina : Yea, Have a luch first before you go !
Aziz’s : Thankyou mom, I’ll eat that soon hehehe
Rama : Don’t push yourself to hard or your muscles will got damaged
Aziz’s : Roger that ! Dad, would you like to give me some money ? hehehehe
Rama : Jezzz, Here ! don’t spent it at once that’s your Money till next week !!
Aziz’s : How poor I am , Okay mom and dad I’ll go… Assalamualaikum
Vina and Rama : Waalaikumsalam…. Take care son
Aziz’s : Okay !!
Scene 3rd
Sondi has arrived at basketball court
Sondi : ( on the phone ) Hallo, Aziz’s where are you ?
Aziz’s : I’m on my way
Sondi : Would you like to pick me up ? because my bike was taken by my little brother
Aziz’s : Okay then, wait me in 5 minutes I’ll be there soon !
Sondi : Okay !
( Sondi and Aziz’s go to basketball court, he start shooting, jumping, but they forgot to warming
up first )
Aziz’s : Here I come !!
Sondi : Come on, against me if u can !!
( Aziz’s falling hard to the ground after blocked by Sondi )
Aziz’s : Awwwww….. damn my right arm !! my arm !!
Sondi : What’s up bro ? Are u Okay ?
Aziz’s : Arrrrrrghhhhhhhh my right arm is damn hurt, I can’t move it anymore
Sondi : Sorry bro, I don’t meant too…..
Aziz’s : Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargggggghhhh…..
Sondi : Wait, I’ll call the hospital !! Keep calm bro !
Aziz’s : Help me, make it fast !!!
( Sondi call the hospital )
Sondi : Hallo !!
Oza : Hallo, Good evening sir, this is Airlangga Hospital, Who are you ?
Sondi : My name is Sondi, My friend got an accident he fell hard into the ground and he
couldn’t move anymore
Oza : don’t be panic sir, Would you like to tell me how’s your friends conditions ?
Sondi : His arm was damaged, there are some Blue and red colors in his arm skin, he thought
that he can’t move his arm anymore
Oza : Okay, Please make him calm first, don’t let him moved his arm
Sondi : Okay nurse
Oza : Wait a minute I’ll sent u an ambulance.
Sondi : Thank’s you so much ! make it fast please….

4th Scene
( Ambulance Sirine !! )
( Sondi, and Aziz’s arrived to the hospital and they go to triage room )
Aziz’s : Arrrrrghh. My arms !!! so damn hurt ! I can’t move it anymore !
Sondi : Stay strong bro !! Nurse, is everything allright ?
Husna : don’t panic sir, My name is Husna and I’m a nursing in charge here. What’s your name?
Aziz’s : My, name is Aziz’s
Husna : Okay Mr. Aziz’s what’s the matter with you ?
Aziz’s : I fell so hard into the ground and I can’t move my arm anymore
Husna : Okay Mr. Aziz’s may I see it ?
Aziz’s : Of course
( Nurse Husna do the Nursing Assessment )
Husna : Mr. Aziz’s in scale 0 – 10 where you will put your arm pains ?
Aziz’s : I don’t know maybe 8
Husna : Can u move your fingers ?
Aziz’s : I don’t know, I can’t do it cause its make me hurt
Husna : Okay, I’ll put a bandage on your arm and take you to radiography room
Aziz’s : What is radiography room nurse ?
Husna : Actualy, We’d like to take your bone picture to see is your arm bones conditions
Aziz’s : Is that hurt ?
Husna : No isn’t just calm Mr. Aziz’s
( Aziz’s taken by the nurse into Radiography room )

5th Scene

Sondi : Hallo, is this Aziz’s mothers ?

Vina : Yes I’am, Who is this ?
Sondi : I’m Sondi, Aziz’s friend, Mom hmmmm… Aziz’s got an accident..
Vina : What ? Aziz’s got an Accident ? DAD !!! Our son is got an accident ( Vina yelling into
her husband)
Rama : What ? How its happen ?
Vina : I don’t know but, his friend thought me that he’s got an accident
( Rama taking the phone )
Rama : Hallo ? How my son condition
Sondi : Aziz’s has been taken into radiography rooms by the nurse
Rama : Where are you now ?
Sondi : We are in Airlangga Hospital
Rama : Okay, wait me there..
( Rama and Vina arrived at Airlangga Hospital )
6th Scene
Vina : Where’s my son ?
Oza : Sorry Mrs.. ?
Vina : I’m Vina, I am Aziz’s mothers
Oza : Wait a minute, hmmmmmm Aziz’s in bed 2 Room no 5 Mrs. Vina, I’ll take you there
Vina : Thank you…
( Oza, Rama, and Vina go to Aziz’s room)
Oza : Dr. Rudianto, here is Mrs. Vina and Mr. Rama they’re the parent of Aziz’s
Rudi : Good evening, My Name is Rude, I’m doctor in charge here
Rama : Hows my son condition doctor ?
Rudi : Well, Mr. Rama according to the bone picture, your son got left arm closed fracture
Rama : What is closed fracture doctor ?
Rudi : A closed fracture is when the bone breaks but there is no puncture or open wound in the
skin
Rama : is that bad ?
Rudi : Yes sir, and your son need a surgery to fit the bone breaks, if not he will got an
infections and it will make his condition worse, beside that the bone fracture need a lil bit time to
recovers it’s tissue, so your son can’t play basket ball or lift any heavy thing to make his bone
revocery good and avoid malformations.
Oza : Mrs. Vina here is the inform contsent for all the medical assessment please sign here,
and we will prepared Mr. Aziz’s for the operation
Vina : Okay nurse
Oza : Doctor I’ll prepare for Mr. Aziz’s operations
Rudi : Okay tell me when everything ready
Oza : Good evening Mr. Aziz’s my name is Oza, and I’m nurse in charge here
Aziz’s : Good evening.. is everything Allright nurse ?
Oza : Unfortunately u have to get a surgery to fit your bone breaks, but don’t worry
everythings gonna be allright
Oza : Ns. Husna please help me to prepare for Mr. Aziz’s Operation
Husna : Okay Ns. Oza
Husna : Excuse me sir, I’ll put the I.V catheter into your right arm to inject the parenteral fluid
and also the medicine
Oza : Excuse me sir, I’d like to inject the medicine
Aziz’s : Okay nurses do as u wish
Oza : Excuse me sir, do you want to go to rest room ?
Aziz’s : No nurse, thank you
Oza : Doctor, All prepared, we can start the surgery
Rudi : OK !!
( 3 moth after the surgery )
7th scene
Husna : Hi, Mr. Aziz’s how are you
Aziz’s : Getting better nurse,
Husna : Glad to know that, well I’d like to unfit your bandage is that okay ?
Aziz’s : doesn’t matter nurse just take it off
Husna : Okay, Excuse me..
Rudi : Hi, Aziz’s How are you
Aziz’ : Getting better doctor, I think I can move my right arms as well
Rudi : Good to hear that, but remember, you don’t have to play basketball, and lift any heavy
things to make your bone recovery faster
Aziz’s : Okay doc thank you so much
(6 months later)
Oza : Hi. Mr. Aziz’s how are you
Aziz’s : I’m good Nurse, can we start our exercise ?
Oza : Okay, please sign this inform consent
Aziz’s : Okay Nurse
Oza : Well Mr. Aziz’s please lift your hand, don’t push it too hard, if u feel pain just stop and
we can strat again
Aziz’s : Okay
Oza : Well, good, is there any pain on your arm ?
Aziz’s : A lil bit nurse
Oza : Good, Then please rotate your arm
Aziz’s : Okay
Oza : Good, Well I’ll give you a little ball, can you handle it ?
Aziz’s : Hmmmm I’ll try
Oza : Good, I think’s your arm getting better
Aziz’s : I hope it so Nurse

8th Scene
Sondi : Hi bro, is everything good ?
Aziz’s : Good I think, if u wanna try let’s play basketball again
Sondi : Hahahaha okay let’s play again ! but remember don’t push yourself to hard
Aziz’s : Hahaha just do your best dude, I’m on fire now..
