MIXED TENSES

Bob (be)…………………a teenager in London. He (study)…………………………..at

the best high school possible, quite far from his house. So, he (have)………………….to
take the bus there. He (do)…………………………………….it for three years now and
nothing (happen)……………………………………so far.
But yesterday it (be)………………………different. Before he (leave)…………………...
for school, he (step)…………………………………on his little brother’s toy car and (fall
down)………………………………………
So, while he (head)……………………………………….to the bus stop, he (feel)………
…………….a little pain in the ankle, but he still (get on)………………………..the bus
to school. As there (be)………………………….no vacant seats, he (stand)……………..
………….but his ankle (get)………………………………worse and worse. A passenger
(see)…………………………..Bob’s white face and (try)…………………………..to
help him. They (get)………………………..to the hospital, after they (walk)…………….
……………………….very slowly and painfully for Bob.
From now on Bob is sure he (not step)………………………………………..on anything
but solid ground.
