ORDER
Filed before the Office of the Executive Judge is a Petition to Post Bail,
by respondent-accused through counsel.

He alleged among others that he is the respondent in the above-captioned

case. However, he is not yet charged in Court. He is presently detained at
Butuan City Police Station 1. Respondent thus prayed that he be allowed to
post bail in the amount of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00).

This petition is filed in accordance with Sec. 17, par. (c), Rule 114 of the
Rules of Court, which provides that: “Any person in custody who is not yet
charged in court may apply for bail with any court in the province, city,
or municipality where he is held.”

WHEREFORE, premises considered, and there being no objection from

City Prosecutor Aljay O. Go, the petition is hereby granted.

Respondent-accused is allowed to post bail in the amount of One Hundred

Thousand Pesos (P100,000.00). However, the Court, where the case will be
subsequently raffled, upon good cause, may increase the amount of bail pursuant
to Section 20, Rule 114 of the Rules of Court.

Furthermore, respondent-accused and his bondsman are hereby ordered to

submit the requirements as listed on the checklist for bail processing, including
payment of fees.

SO ORDERED.
