Written Expression Topic: Work
Your friend Pete has just finished his studies at university and is looking for his
first job. You know him well and know he is very artistic and good at doing
things with his hands. He’s also outgoing and doesn’t mind travelling or moving
to another town. You have just seen these job adverts in the Job Center in
your district.

Write a letter recommending one of the jobs and explain why you think he
would be a suitable candidate. Based on your own experience give some advice
on what to do and not to do when taking the job interview.

Try to use a compound adjective that we have learnt and a “double

comparative” like the ones in unit 1B.
