Holiday fun at the Round House

The Round House in Fremantle is open and ready for the school holidays,
you can come down to explore the historical site in person and now also
virtually online.

The Round House is open every day throughout the school holidays from
10:30am to 3:30pm to the public with the Guides available for tours all day.
The Cannon is fired every day at 1:00pm on the gun deck and you can even
book in to fire the cannon.

Recently the Round House has added a Virtual Tour, powered and created
by Zynq360, to allow those in lockdown and unable to leave the house or
restricted by the borders to explore and enjoy the historical landmark.

“We want people to come down to check out and challenge the friendly
Guides about the history of Fremantle” said Volunteer Guide Phil
Westwood.

The virtual tour was created and donated by Zynq360 to the Round House.
It is a revolutionary program that will open the doors of the Round House
online to the world.

“You can learn about the rich maritime history, learn about the time ball,
the cannon and the Round House” said Westwood.
