    Bluetooth Firmware KCE-400BT / IXA-W407BT Update 3.11

    Dear Alpine Customer,


    We would like to information you that before you attempt to carry out any Bluetooth
    firmware downgrade on the KCE-400BT or the IXA-W407BT you should first check the serial number has
    not had the letter “B“ (400BT) or the letter “C“ added to the end of it.
    Hardware that has the additional letter IS NOT downgradeable below the firmware version 3.11.

    Model Serial Nr

    KCE-400BT: >00635361B -> The letter ”B” added to the end of the serial Nr for easy identification.

    iXA-W407BT: >00714301C -> The letter ”C” added to the end of the serial Nr for easy identification.

    If an attempt to downgrade is carried out, IT WILL result in the hardware becoming defective, for more
    information on this matter please contact the Alpine office for your country.
