Right now poverty is a big problem all over the world. According to 2018 Census figures, more than 38.1
million people in the U.S. lived below the poverty line, which was 1.4 million fewer people than in 2017.
Poverty has decreased in developed countries since the industrial revolution. Increased production
reduced the cost of goods, making them more affordable. Advancements in agriculture increased crop
yields as well as food production.

A lot people die because of poverty, they are unable to find a proper shelter or roof over their heads to
take a rest or have safe place from the extreme weather outside. On the average, the poor don’t have a
high education to be able to have average size job, to make enough money for them to even eat, mostly
have financial from the start to have a proper education.

Because they are under a lot of pressure, from not having any money to make a proper living, some may
lead to breaking the law. They don’t think of the consequences of what they do if they get caught or
what will happen to their families if they get caught, some even go to the far as doing fraud.

From them living in very bad conditions and not getting proper health checkups, vitamins and the lack of
taking care of themselves, they have such a big risk of getting life risking diseases, that maybe they don’t
even though the symptoms. It is truly very sad to see people sleeping in the sides of roads, not getting
proper attention and care from the higher ups.

Even we can help the poor, maybe it doesn’t look that big to us but a bit of food or shelter maybe will
help them a lot. Training them doing in something they can use for getting jobs can help too, it doesn’t
always have to involve a big sum of money. We don’t want to see people dying just because they can’t
get a proper meal right?
