AFFIDAVIT OF SERVICE
I, ISEGYA ASADI of C/o M/s Aguma Kifunga& Co. Advocates, Master Plaza, Plot
88, 2nd Floor, Room S9, Ben Kiwanuka Street, Opposite Watoto Church Central,
P.O. Box 1443, Kampala,

1. That I am a male adult Ugandan of sound mind, a law clerk and an authorized
court process server of the High Court of the Republic of Uganda and
subordinate courts thereto and I swear this affidavit in such capacity.

2. That on the 19th day of June 2020, I received copies of Hearing Notices in Land
Civil Suit Number 61 of 2019 from this Honourable Court to be served upon the
2nd Defendant.

3. That on the 22nd day of June 2020 in the morning hours of the day in the
company of Namugga Hasifah, (the 2nd Plaintiff) who stated to be familiar with
the whereabouts of the 2nd Defendant, I went to effect service onto the said
Defendant.
4. That on reaching at his known office of work at Busabala, we found the said
offices locked and decided to contact him on his known Telephone Contact
Number vide 0705574201.
 5. That on picking up his call, I introduced myself to him and the purpose of my call
and he eventually told me to go to his place of residence still in Busabala and
handover all the documents I intended to serve him to his wife called Tusubira
Jovious as he was not available.

6. That on reaching the 2nd Defendant’s place of residence, we indeed found the
said lady to whom I introduced myself and the reason of my visit and she in turn
introduced herself to me as Tusubira Jovious, the wife to SSEMAGANDA
PAUL.
7. That on handing over to her a copy of the hearing notice, she declined to sign
acknowledging service but accepted to retain the said copy and said she would
hand it over to her husband.
8. That I affirm this affidavit in proof of service of the hearing notice to the 2nd
Defendant. (a copy of the hearing notice is attached as annexure A)

9. That whatever I have stated herein is true and correct to the best of knowledge
and belief.

2That on the 1st day of october 2020, I received copies of Notices of motion in
Land Civil Suit Number 61 of 2019 from this Honourable Court to be served upon
the 2nd Defendant.

3That on the 06th day of october 2020 in the morning hours of the day in the
company of Namugga Hasifah, (the 2nd Plaintiff) who stated to be familiar with the
whereabouts of the 2nd Defendant, I went to effect service onto the said Defendant.

4That on reaching at his known office of work at Busabala, we found the said offices
locked and decided to contact him on his known Telephone Contact Number vide
0705574201.
 5That on picking up his call, I introduced myself to him and the purpose of my call
and he eventually told me to wait for him and racieve the documants in person.

6That on handing over to him a copy of the notices of motion, He declined to sign
acknowledging service but accepted to retain the said copy.

7 That I affirm this affidavit in proof of service of the notice of motion to the 2nd
Defendant. (a copy of the notice of motion is hereto attached as annexure A)

8That whatever I have stated herein is true and correct to the best of knowledge and
belief.

That I received copies of the plaint ,plaintiffs mediation summary and summons to
file adefence in the Civil Suit Number 325 of 2020 from this Honourable Court to
be served upon the Defendants

.3That on the 20th day of october 2020 in the morning hours of the day in the
company of nisiima ivon Plaintiffs sister who stated to be familiar with the
whereabouts of the Defendants, I went to effect service onto the said Defendants.

4That on reaching at his known office of work at hope land clinic mbalala mukono
district, of the 2nd defendant, we found the said available.

That introduced my self and the reason for my visit to the said 2 nd defendant,I
handed over the said documents to him,He perused through and acknowledged the
receipt of service by duly signing on the my copy.

That we proceeded to serve the 4th defendant at his work place m.trust hardware in
mbalala mukono district.reaching the said work place he was not aveileble.
 That I called him vide no 0758426630 on picking up my call, I introduced myself to
him and the purpose of my call and he eventually told me to wait for him and racieve
the documants in person.

That he come and handed over the documents to him,he perused through and
accepted the receipt of service by signing on my return copies.

That on the very day our attempts to have the 1 st defendant served were futile
because all the her known mobile numbers were off and we were told by the brother
that he has no idea of her whereabouts.S

6That on handing over to him a copy of the notices of motion, He declined to sign
acknowledging service but accepted to retain the said copy.

7 That I affirm this affidavit in proof of service of the notice of motion to the 2nd
Defendant. (a copy of the notice of motion is hereto attached as annexure A)

8That whatever I have stated herein is true and correct to the best of knowledge and
belief.
