Statement Of Purpose
I belonging to a business family that is into the construction business, pursuing B.E in civil engineering was the right step towards carrying
forward the family business. But during my undergraduate program, I realized that civil engineering was not a field that intrigued me. I
started investing time in discovering my passion. I soon discovered that finance was a subject that I found interesting, financial markets in
particular. I started reading about how the financial markets work, how to do a fundamental analysis of a company and other aspects related
to stock markets. Reading through the profiles of successful investors thought me that following one's passion was the only way to a happy
and successful personal and professional life. Keeping this in mind, I decided to go ahead with my passion for financial markets and develop a
carrier in this field. My ultimate aim is to start an asset management company of my own. FMS Delhi, with its cutting-edge pedagogy,
infrastructure, and vibrant intellectual atmosphere will enable me to learn from my peers by exchanging ideas with some of the best brains of
India. An MBA in finance from FMS Delhi will not only provide me the required knowledge but will also help in networking with the vast and
distinguished alumni base, which will further help me in achieving my long term goals. I am confident I possess the motivation, and capability
required not only to succeed in the program but also to contribute to the same.

Extra Curricular Activities/Hobbies

 1- I volunteered as the student placement coordinator for my department. As a placement coordinator, I had to coordinate with the
placement department, identify and communicate about the companies interested in hiring from my department and manage the placement
test process.
2- I was an active member of my department club ASCE where I organized and managed national level fest with a footfall of over 800
students.
3- I coordinated drives like swatch Bharat awareness drive, to spread the message of cleanliness.
4- I along with my group have participated and won the 3rd price in the national concrete canoe competition.

Career Goals
During my undergraduate program, I discovered my passion for finance, financial markets in particular. I explored my passion by reading
books and material on financial markets. MBA in finance in the next logical step towards full filling my aim of pursuing a carrier in this field.
My ultimate aim is to start an asset management company of my own. FMS Delhi, with its cutting-edge pedagogy, infrastructure, and vibrant
intellectual atmosphere will enable me to learn from my peers as well as network with the vast alumni base of the institution. This will further
help in achieving my long term goal.

List Of Academic, Honors, Prizes, Scholarship And Other Awards.

1-1st prize for the technical presentation on my research at national seminar for research scholars, AMC COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.
2-3RD prize at national concrete canoe competition held at Vellore institute of technology.
3-presented my research paper at akkar IIT BOMBAY. My paper was one among 52 papers selected out of 120 entries.
4- secured 4th rank among the graduating students of 2019 from the civil engineering department.
5-secured a state level rank of 857 in engineering category in Karnataka
