ABC’s Student Experience Office is seeking a qualified counsellor who has substantial experience of offering
Introduction Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), or another cognitive approach, as well
as of conducting workshops for student’s development, preferably in a university or comparable setting. 

 
Working with members of the Student Counselling team to provide an integrated, effective counselling service
for ABC students in Pakistan, you will be responsible to: 

 provide effective and confidential counselling service (usually short-term) to students 

 promote positive mental health and emotional wellbeing by organizing relevant workshops for students
and staff 
 produce assessments and other reports as required by the University 
Responsibilities  maintain records and statistics in line with the University’s confidentiality of Data Protection policy
 refer students to other support services as appropriate
 establish and maintain close links with a wide range of academic and administrative staff and student
support services
 undertake research in areas relevant to student development and wellness, which  may be in
collaboration with other professionals where appropriate
 participate  in monitoring and evaluation of the counselling service within the University
 supervise and support, where appropriate, the work of other staff working with students. 

Candidates should have:

 Master’s degree in Psychology with training in clinical or counselling psychology

 ability to design and conduct psychoeducational workshops
Requirements  some experience in designing and conducting research
 ability to use complex methods of psychological assessment intervention and management frequently
requiring sustained and intense concentration
 ability to contain and work with the organizational stress and ability to hold the stress of others
 excellent written and oral English communication skills.
