using today’s technology.

Strategy: Meeting with car dealers, Test Runs with competition cars, photoshoot of
the cars, fashion show of cars Infront the dealers.
Competitive Advantage: designing and portrayed a luxury cars in the market, “the
ultimate driving machine”, the engine is made to feel like a sports car, sales staff is
are brought to Germany to push the car.
Production/Output: Producing 27000 units of the new model

OM Decisions
Design of goods/services: the car is designed by sketching on paper first,
computer stimulation for construction and production process,
Quality: luxury, unique combination of steel and aluminum, the right sound and the
right look with no weak sounding engine.
Process and Capacity: 2000 trained employees for the production
Location: Dingolfing Plant, Munich Assembly. Designed in Munich
Layout: robots working properly with humans is the only way to ensure mass
production.
Human Resources: employees are trained for the worst and best situations
Inventory management: inventory is managed with less waste material
Supply Chain management: Multiple industries worked at the same time to ensure
the best quality of the car pieces eg. Leather factory
Maintenance: a new pilot factory set up for making mistakes and learning from
them, machines go through a test run before actual production
Scheduling: the closed roof car was ready but due to technical errors the open roof
was delayed but they had minimum time to fix their mistakes for the mass
production launch.
