INTRODUCTION

Malaysia is a unique country which are divided into two main landmasses.
West Malaysia occupies the southern half of a peninsular while the east
Malaysia occupies the half Borneo which are called Sabah and Sarawak.
Next, Malaysia concentrates on the cultural, historic and natural attractions
combined. For an insight in Malaysia’s most popular islands and beaches are
Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang, Port Dickson and etc. Not only is Malaysia
a melting pot of ethnic cultures, but it is also a blend of many different
customs, cuisines and religions all coexisting peacefully together. From large
island groups to mountains, fertile highlands and tropical rainforest, the
country’s geography is every bit as diverse. If countries were awarded for
diversity, Malaysia would top first place. There are a lot of places in Malaysia
for tourist to explore that can be found attractive. Some of the places that the
tourist could enjoy while staying or vacation in Malaysia are The Colmar
Tropicale Resort, Langkawi, River Cruise Malacca, Broga hill, Cameron
Highland and many more.

1) The Colmar Tropicale Resort (Pahang)

The first destination to explore is the Colmar Tropicale resort, one of the best replicas
of a French town in Malaysia especially for tourist who looking to escape Malaysian
culture for just a while. The concept of Bukit Tinggi focus on bringing differing
cultures from far-off lands into one place in Malaysia. Moreover, the scenery will
change from the usual Malaysian charm to that of the French countryside. Colmar
Tropicale is a 16th century, European-style architecture; decorated with cobblestone
courtyards and lined with cafes and restaurants around the square. Furthermore, the
most entertaining element consist of the street performances and live bands which
will bring you an immersive, wholesome European experience that is fun for all ages.
It’s Similar to the French town, the Japanese culture and architecture are imported to
Malaysia without ever having to step foot in the East. Lastly, the cool mountain air will
make you feel as if you have been whisked away to the real respective countries and
the experience is second to none to take a break from the norm of Malaysian life.

2) Langkawi (Kedah)

The second destination that tourist can go for travel is Langkawi, Kedah. There are
many activities that the tourists can enjoy while staying in Langkawi. The most
exciting activities that are famous to do in Langkawi such as going a ride on cable car
where the sky bridge that allow views across the island, go to their aquarium and
many more. Besides, there also a historical place that the tourist can learn in
Langkawi for example Mahsuri’s Tomb, Langkawi Craft Complex and Galeria
Perdana. Moreover, the tourist could enjoy a free duty items that were sell in
Langkawi. By having the free duty items as the souvenir, it will help to lessen the time
at the airport when the tourists go back to their motherland and reduce the cost. Most
people buy chocolates there such as Daim, Herseys, Cadbury and many more.
There are many ways for the tourist to come to Langkawi. If the tourist has been
staying in Malaysia, they can go to Langkawi by cars, ferry or airplane. For the tourist
who want to come to Langkawi from other state, they can straight away book an
airplane ticket to Langkawi as there is an international airport located in Langkawi.

3) Malacca

The third destination that tourist can go is Malacca. Malacca is the place where the
tourist can get a knowledge and learn about a Malaysia historical because it is the
oldest town that was found in Malaysia back then. Furthermore, Malacca have a lot
of historical that tourist can go to know more about Malaysia heritage. For instance, A
Famosa which is a former Portuguese fortress, Malacca light which is commissioned
during British rule in Malacca, Hang Tuah’s Well which is a malay worries that fight
for get Malacca and many more. After getting all the knowledge, tourist can enjoy
buying souvenir while eating some street food at night in Jongker Walk. Moreover,
The River Cruise on Malacca is one of place that tourist could go because throughout
the river there are a moral about Malaysia culture.

4) Broga Hill (Selangor)

Broga Hill located in a small town in Semenyih, Selangor. It is also known as Bukit
Broga or Bukit Lalang. It has about 400m tall. This place usually visited by locals or
tourist and backpackers who more into adventurous activities. Broga Hill has three
peaks and take around 20 to 45 minutes to reach the highest peak depending on
one’s fitness level. In order to reached at the peak, there’s no option of transportation
other than hiking with your own foot. From the peak, people can enjoy the beautiful
view of Broga town and surrounded with all green. The smell of cool air makes us
feel enjoy and forget about any problems for a while. During weekend, this place
really crowded in the morning and evening hours. People go there at dawn to see the
sunrise together with friends and others while in the evening for the sunset view. If
you want to explore the Broga Hill, you can set an outdoor camping. Its more fun
because you can learn how to survive, make new friends and view the beautiful
starlight in the sky at night.

5) Cameron Highland (Pahang)

Another famous place to visit in Malaysia is Cameron Highlands, Pahang at about


1500 metres above sea level. Due to its geographic location, it’s the only place in
Malaysia that grow strawberries all year round. The temperatures on this hillside
fluctuate between 22 to 25 Celcius during the day and between 15 to 22 Celcius at
night. Make sure to wear thick clothes there! Bring more sweater if necessary. There
are a few places that you can go such as visit Tea Plantation which is the experience
the moment of picking tea leaves become one of the activities that you can enjoy.
Besides that, Butterfly Farm also most popular attractive stop for tourist. They are
many collections of beautiful butterflies flutter in the garden full with flowers.
Moreover, the hotspot of Cameron Highlands is open market which ease tourists to
buy a fresh vegetables and fruits. Tourist can enjoy fresh strawberries, pluck it from
its plant themselves. The taste of sweet and sour of strawberry can make you want to
eat more and more. There are so many strawberry farms that tourist can visit such as
YZ Agro Farm and Cafe and don’t forget to try the ice cream strawberry too!

6) Pangkor Island (Perak)

The sixth destination that tourist also could go is Pangkor Island, Perak. According to
Berita Harian, Pulau Pangkor had announced as one of the duty-free island starting
from January 2020. The major industries of the island are tourism and fishing.
Tourists are mostly attracted to the white sandy beaches and clear sea. The island
with beautiful scenery for sight seeing, nice air, clearest water as crystal make us feel
so calm. Tourists can arrange for a boat trip around the island, discover a thriving
marine world on a snorkelling trip, a jet-ski or canoes to explore the waters of Pasir
Bogak and Teluk Nipah. Besides that, parents and friends can spend their time
together by eating together and have a good time. The famous local product of the
island is anchovies (ikan bilis) and other dried fish produtcs. Therefore, this place is
very suitable to choose in your weekend trip!

7) Pulau Tioman (Pahang)

The seventh destination that tourist can go is Pulau Tioman. It’s was an island that
located in Rompin,Pahang. This is a good place to create a bonding time during
holiday.There are many adventurous and interesting activities can be done here. It’s
the right time to bonding with family and friends. For example, sunbathe on Paya
Beach. Paya Beach is a great place to relax if they want some peace and quiet.
Tourists can try scuba diving and enjoy the nice air. Other than that, the famous
activities to do in island is snorkelling at Salang. Looking at the beautiful coral and
amazing underwater life close up can make us feel grateful with the creation in this
world. For they who love to fishing, they can go on a fishing trip. Sea kayaking and
hiking at Asah Waterfall also be a choice for them who love adventurous activities.
Having a nice meal such as BBQ always become a great choice if we want to spent
quality time with family. Enjoy the meals and talking about excited moment together
while laughing. Enjoying the sunrise and sunset and take photo together.

8) National Park (Pahang)

National Park is the main national park in Malaysia and spread out over three states;
Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. Because of its location, tourist can easily
combine a visit to Taman Negara with a trip to Cameron Highlands or even Pulau
Perhentian. It is the oldest primary rainforest in the world. It is one of the places that
has various areas that known as a protected forest that is well preserved and cared
for by the country's own wildlife department. Had you wonder what’s inside there? It
has a variety of flora and fauna that is still there and unique that can be seen here.
The atmosphere of the city which is much more comfortable and soothing. The park
has some prettiest unspoilt flora and fauna in the country for example Bunga
Rafflesia. There are many activities to do in the park such as hiking, night walks,
birds watching and fishing. There will be a guide to accompany you into the jungle.

9) Kundasang (Sabah)

Kundasang is the most beautiful place in Malaysia, located in little town in Ranau,
Sabah. It is about 6km from Taman Negara Kota Kinabalu and is at elevation of
6200ft. This makes it’s the highest inhabited town in Malaysia. Desa Dairy Farm view
makes you feel like you are currently in New Zealand. These lush green hills
overlooking a dairy farm give them same as in New Zealand. A trip here bring you to
watch the milk processing and feeding the calves with bottled milk. Don’t forget to
visit fresh market, a stretch of stalls along the Kundasang-Ranau highway to get
some souvenirs such as clothes and handicraft. Make a stop at Kundasang War
Memorial, established in 1962 to commemorate the brave Australian and British
prisoners of war who died in Sandakan and during the infamous death marches to
Ranau in World War II. The memorial also honors te North Borneo heroes who risked
their lives to help the prisoners of war.

10) Petronas Twin Towers (Kuala Lumpur)

Menara Berkembar Petronas are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the
tallest twin towers in the world, and its status has remained unchallenged since 1996.
PETRONAS Twin Towers is inspired by Tun Mahathir Mohamad and it is Malaysia’s
proudest icon and architectural wonder, lined with an endless shopping and touring
experience. This tower type is commercial offices and tourist attraction. The exact
location in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The buildings are a landmark of
Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower. This tower has a height of
451.9 metres, the 88-storey twin structure, has a majestic view by day and dazzling
at night. Begin your tour with interactive displays that showcase the journey, from
idea to completion. Scale 170 metres in an elevator with a futuristic edge. The doors

Conclusion

In conclusion, there are many places in Malaysia on 2020 that tourist can go
for their vacation to have fun and gain knowledge about Malaysia. As it is a
diversity country, Malaysia is the ideal place for the tourist. Next because
Malaysia is a tropical country with a warm climate and miles of coastline, the
tourist could enjoy their time on the beaches or in the nature. The tourist could
also enjoy the night life and the cities concept that Malaysia has offered.
Therefore, coming to Malaysia for vacation is a great idea.
