DISCUSSION:

6.1 Discuss experimental results.

During the experiment, there are different result between experiment result and theoretical
result. There are two variables that change in experiment to see the different of the value cycle time,
natural angular frequency, natural frequency and period that are spring constant that use are 1kN/M
and 3kN/M. In the table above, there are different of value cycle time, natural angular frequency,
natural frequency and period when spring constant change from 1kN/M to 3kN/M. The value cycle
time, natural angular frequency, natural frequency and period have increase when spring constant
change from 1kN/M to 3kN/M.

Spring constant changes have a major effect on the value of cycle time, natural angular
frequency, natural frequency and period. When spring constant increase, the value of cycle time,
natural angular frequency, natural frequency and period will increase. There are many mistake that
we have facing during and after of the experiment to get an accurate experiment. We can improve
something on the experiment so we can improve the result of experiment and that we will discuss
at below.

6.2 Indicate errors during conducting the experiment.

The errors during conducting the experiment:

 Old and low service maintenance equipment:

When use an old and low service equipment it will affect to have an accurate result. To get
an accurate result we need to replace or service the equipment so it can perform efficient.

 Disturb during experiment:

A disturbance during experiment can affect at the end of the result. We can’t get accurate
result of the experiment. To get an accurate result we need check our surrounding it is good
to proceed the experiment. If it safe and no disturbance we can proceed the experiment.

 Human error:
A human is common during experiment. To avoid this error we double check the result of
the experiment and need our friend check also so we can agree and get a good result from
experiment

6.3 Give parameter that influence natural frequency for theoretical and experimental result.

That influence natural frequency for theoretical is the value of natural angular. If the value of
natural angular increase, the value of natural frequency will increases. That influence natural
frequency for experimental is the value spring constant. When the value spring constant increase,
we can see that natural frequency value increase. So we can see that there difference parameter
that influence natural frequency for theoretical and experiment.
6.4 If different spring with coefficient, K is less than 1.0kN/m, what will happen to calculated
natural frequency?

If use different spring with coefficient, K, the natural frequency will have different result. If
spring with coefficient is less than 1.0kN/M, the result of the natural frequency will have less value
than the result from experimental result because a we can see the experiment when the spring
constant is increase the natural frequency will increase so we can assume that if the spring constant
is less than 1.0kN/m the natural frequency will has less value than natural frequency that have
spring constant at 1.0kN/m
