    WRITING GUIDE

    This is an entry you read in a holiday blog:

    “I went to Berlin last May with my boyfriend. We flew to Berlin with


    Ryanair.

    We stayed for six days in a little hotel  in the city centre. The hotel was
    nice and quite cheap, around 30 euros per night in a double room.

    During the day we walked around the city. We saw all the famous places
    like the Berlin Wall or the “Reichstag”, the German Parliament .
    At night we went to restaurants and had fantastic huge sausages and
    drank a lot of delicious German beer .
    After dinner we went to clubs and we danced a lot. We didn´t
    buy any gifts.
    We had a great time. Berlin is a very interesting city.
    Most people speak English and this is great because my German is
    terrible! I loved the trip and I would like to go back next year.”

    Read it carefully and check the use of tenses (mainly past tense),
    adjectives, connectors, logical order of events in paragraphs, etc.
