 Christmas Card Templates Guide
Purpose: Your free Christmas card templates have been designed with the busy teacher in mind.
Your black and white card templates will give your students opportunities to engage in the Christmas
tradition of making and giving a Christmas card(s) to a loved one or friend. Students will decorate
and write on their card with the purpose of giving and brightening up someone’s Christmas.

How to use this resource: Print off a range of Christmas card templates for your students to
choose from. Your students need to know who their target person is, and what they might like to see
on the cover. This file includes cards with no title for those who want to create their own card
headings.

Model how to write on a card. Bring in your old Christmas cards to demonstrate what
children can write. Very young students may need a brainstorm of written messages
for them to copy from. You may also like to modify this and blank out some words for
them to choose from.
